New construction work progresses

Investments in modern infrastructure and future viability at the company headquarters in Werne

As a continuously growing family business, Böcker is currently investing in a modern infrastructure at the company headquarters in Werne and thus in the future viability. Since the start of the big new building project in autumn 2021, a lot has happened. In the first construction phases, a central recycling yard, a noise barrier and the new crane assembly hall were built, which started operations at the beginning of January. The office extension of the production hall has also been completed and is used by the production management, quality management and in the form of a spacious team room. On the newly laid-out, spacious final testing area in front of the hall, the cranes have been undergoing their final inspection since September last year before their delivery. Adjoining to the other side of the final testing area, two existing production halls were extended. Thanks to the enlarged area, there will be enough space for prototype construction and line assembly of the inclined lifts in the future. Work is currently being done on the interior of the hall extensions before the move-in takes place in the next few weeks. New PV systems with a total output of 465.75 kWp have been installed on all three halls.

The second construction phase is currently in the planning stage, in which further old existing halls will be dismantled and new logistics and service areas will be created. The groundbreaking for these construction works is expected to take place at the end of the year.
