New boost for Böcker's constantly growing UK activities

Böcker Group has been trying to gain substantial ground on the British market. Enforced marketing activities, a continuously growing turnover and the successful collaboration with reliable sales partners have led to a constantly growing market share in the UK. Since 2007 Böcker has been cooperating with Power Lifting Services Ltd., based in London. Represented by its sales manager Matthew Wood, this company sells Böcker aluminium cranes throughout the United Kingdom. Böcker's efforts to gain a stronger position on this market have now been significantly boosted by the delivery of the first aluminium truck crane to England.

The AK 32/1500 PLC was sold to the English crane-service specialist Berry Cranes Ltd. based in Towcester/Northhampton. Neil and Simon Berry appeared in person at the Böcker headquarters in Werne/Westphalia for the handover of their new crane. During a two-day training course, they received a thorough training for the safe and efficient handling of their new AK 32/1500 PLC by Böcker Instructor Martin Schülting. Matthew Wood also came to Werne for the handover of the brand-new machine to its customer.

The Böcker AK 32/1500 PLC lifts loads up to 1.5 t and has a maximum hook height of approx. 32 m. Having a gross vehicle weight of only 7.5 t, this crane is lightweight and extremely handy on the road as well as on-site. It impresses by convenient driving characteristics, precise control and a minimum required space.

The sophisticated Böcker PLC Control is the core element of this compact truck crane. It continuously monitors the position of the four individually controllable hydraulic supports and automatically calculates the maximum swivel range of the crane. As a result, the AK 32/1500 PLC equally combines surpassing operational convenience, efficient workflows and sophisticated safety technology. The crane can be optionally equipped with a work basket. Assembled in just a few minutes and without the need of additional tools, this basket is rotatable and offers sufficient space for two persons. That way, the AK 32/1500 PLC can be used as a mobile working platform, too.

Sophisticated control technology, superior safety standards and easy conversion into a mobile working platform - by these key strengths, Böcker plans to attract more British customers in the near future and to substantially increase its market share in the UK. The company is absolutely convinced that Matthew Wood and Power Lifting Services Ltd. are competent and committed on-site partners who will equally pursue these ambitious goals.
